  This year, the Bar Foundation is ecstatic to celebrate the historic 20th anniversary of the Beat The Odds® Scholarship Program. To celebrate that amazing feat, we will be celebrating with a ceremonial luncheon and fundraiser on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 12 p.m. at Vola’s in their Key West room. The event will showcase speakers who will provide the history of Beat The Odds® and how the program has impacted our community, including former award recipients. 

  The Foundation is excited to celebrate the youth of Alexandria who have overcome adversity to succeed, and the efforts made by this community to support their success.

  Please register in advance of the April 25 deadline. The registration fee is waived this year as the Foundation will be accepting your donation at the door or online. Your contributions will ensure future generations will benefit from this valuable program. Donations made to the Foundation and Beat The Odds® are fully tax-deductible. 

  If you can't attend the event but still want to support the cause, you can donate online through this PayPal link. Donations made to the Foundation and Beat The Odds® are fully tax-deductible. Donations to support programs funded by the Foundation of the Alexandria Bar Association, including Beat The Odds®, are always appreciated. By contributing to this program, you can help provide opportunities and resources to young people who may not have access to them otherwise.
