Legal Assistant to Senior Partner

The senior partner practices primarily in estate planning, probate/estate and trust administration, real estate, and business & commercial transactions. The assistant is expected to:

    • Have a proactive work ethic and adaptable to a multi-faceted position;
    • Have excellent written and oral communication skills;
    • Be able to take direction easily;
    • Be technically savvy;
    • Pay strong attention to details and time management;
    • Be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook);
    • Have a working knowledge of Quicken as well as manual bookkeeping; and
    • Be able to conduct and reconcile banking transactions.

Additional training will be provided for software, such as Juris (time-keeping), which is a necessity to the practice. The assistant is expected to work collaboratively with the senior partner's team (associate and paralegal), as well as assist in occasional firm-wide rotation duties, i.e. reception. Hours are 9am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday.
