The Bar is happy to announce the return of our Monthly Networking Lunches, an unfortunate pandemic casualty.  When I started at the Alexandria Bar Association in 2015, these lunches were great for making connections within the new legal community I was joining, and I am glad we are bringing them back.  

Please mark your calendars for the last lunch of 2025 on Tuesday, December 9th.

These lunches will be at The Royal Restaurant, located at 730 N St Asaph St, Alexandria, VA 22314. For an all-inclusive fee of $27.00, you can enjoy a delicious meal with iced tea, soda, lemonade, or coffee included (juice and specialty coffees not included). The menu features:

• Italian Chopped Salad: Marinated tomatoes, crispy prosciutto, pickled garden veggies, romaine & iceberg lettuce, hard-boiled eggs, gorgonzola cheese, and red wine-lemon vinaigrette.
  
• Tossed Salad: Artisan lettuce, cucumbers, candied pecans, champagne vinaigrette, and cornbread croutons.
  
• Royal Smash Burger: Double smashed patties, white cooper cheese, pickles, caramelized onions, “secret sauce,” served on a brioche bun with fries.
  
• Nashville Hot Chicken: Crispy fried chicken thigh, hot sauce, pickles, house slaw, and maple syrup on a brioche bun with fries.
  
• Tuna Poke Tacos: Rare tuna, ginger marinade, avocado puree, tobiko, toasted macadamias, and a crispy wonton shell.

To ensure that The Royal can accommodate everyone comfortably, we ask that all members RSVP by December 5, 2025. Accurate headcounts help the restaurant prepare adequately, so please let us know if you'll be there.  If your schedule doesn't clear until the morning of the event, don't worry, come on down for lunch and fellowship.  We hope you can make it.   

We would like to gently remind everyone that each member is responsible for settling their bill directly with the restaurant at the end of the meal. If you wish to expedite payments, please provide your credit card payment when placing your lunch order. A credit card is the restaurant's preferred payment method.
