Basics of Uncontested Petitions for Appointment of Guardians and Conservators for Incapacitate (Virginia Approved for 1 CLE and 1 GAL Credit)

An introduction to the process of assisting clients in petitioning for the appointment of guardians and conservators of incapacitated adults. The course is modeled for uncontested petitions and provides an overview of the legal process to be appointed guardian/conservator as well as model pleadings. This course is ideal for attorneys who are interested in expanding their practice to serve the families of elderly and disabled adults. There are two handouts for this course.
