In 2021, the General Assembly passed legislation increasing the jurisdictional limit for personal injury cases in General District Courts to $50,000. The previous limit of $25,000 had been in place since 2011.  This two-hour CLE will provide a start-to-finish guide on how to successfully handle a personal injury case in GDC, with training from a plaintiff's lawyer, an insurance-defense lawyer, and a prominent GDC judge.  This is an invaluable opportunity for practitioners interested in handling personal injury cases in GDC, and experienced attorneys who want to brush up on current law and best practices!
